In D2, you play the role of Laura Parton, a well-respected journalist who’s on her way home for the holidays. In a double stroke of bad luck, the plane you’re on is simultaneously hijacked and knocked out of the sky by a meteorite. But something else goes terribly wrong with the other survivors of the crash: they’re turning into plant-like zombies, and the only way to identify one is by the color of its blood. Your mission is simple: explore the frozen wasteland of the crash site, eliminate the zombies, and figure out exactly what happened. Of course, that’s a tall order, but you’ll have plenty of firepower at your disposal and some friends to help you along the way.
