 DC In-house: Virtua Tennis review
Posted by Matt on 7.30.2000

Console City's DC site, Segascape, has taken a look at Sega's new smash hit tennis game, Virtua Tennis. Here's a taste:

Not much I can complain about the graphics. The visuals are crystal clear, nicely textured, just everything you've come to expect from the Dreamcast. The atmosphere is authentic, including moving crowds, the on-court announcer with the accent, player grunts, and shadow-casting clouds overhead. Heck, even the line judges dodge incoming balls.

 SITE ConsoleCity : Part Quatre
Posted by MikeB on 7.29.2000

Yes, welcome to yet another revamp of ConsoleCity! If my memory serves me right, this is the third reincarnation of our little website. And so, this is the result of my countless hours of labor. Like? Dislike? Problems? I'm listening.

Notable additions to the site include the nifty CSS menu system above, which should grant you instant access to all areas of the site. (I'm bound to hear problems about it, but I'll correct them as soon as I'm notified of them.) Second up, a quick look-up list of release dates. A complete media section is under works to satisfy the leecher in you.

If you haven't been, you should haul your web presence down to our fairly new forums, register, and get involved in system talk. If not, there's ALWAYS something brewing in the General topic.

That's it. I'm beat. Time for bed. I'll be ready to tackle the technical errors come Monday morn!

For those unaware, Anime Expo is only the largest anime convention in the United States, the E3 of anime. It's a massive gathering of film distributors, execs, industry greats, dealers, and most notably -- otakus in anime garb. We admit we're late in delivering the pics, but hell, like they say... nevermind, just click here.
