After being defeated by the Battletoads the Dark Queen makes her way to Earth, where she uses a special beam to render Earth’s military power useless. After discovering the Dark Queen’s whereabouts, Professor T-Bird sends the Battletoads to stop her. However, the Queen has joined forces with the Shadow Boss to fortify her position. Whenever the Shadow Boss appears, Billy and Jimmy Lee—the Double Dragons—are there. You’ve got to help the Battletoads and Double Dragons fight their way through a variety of levels, using only their martial arts prowess. However, whacking an enemy with a piece of lumber might prove beneficial as well. Help defeat the Dark Queen and the Shadow Boss to return Earth to normal in BATTLETOADS DOUBLE DRAGON.
