The Witcher 2 - Better Than Skyrim?

Looks like CD Projekt RED has done the impossible and ported The Witcher 2 to the aging Xbox 360 without losing much of what made it so great on the PC. Seems to be a must by for any RPG fan...

It's an amazing game.

I really should replay it with all the additions since launch, plus just like a BioWare game the amount of choices and decisions you make are staggering, it must be played multiple times to get full enjoyment.

Better than Skyrim? Two completely different games, but as a straight up RPG battle, Skyrim doesn't even come close. The only thing Skyrim has over this would be more immersion using first-person in an open world.

Please don't make the Bioware comparison. CDPR has far surpassed them in that regard already.

BioWare is getting hate for 3 reasons nowadays:

1. DA2
2. TOR instead of KotOR 3
3. ME3 ending

All are legitimate in some ways, but this company created Mass Effect. The last 5 minutes of the ending won't ruin one of the greatest trilogies of all time for me, and Mass Effect 2 and 3 (while under EA) were brilliant.

Different settings, but ME > Witcher. We'll see if this changes when Witcher 3 comes out.

And Tet ME3 is better than the Witcher. Ya I said it. In fact aside from some plot holes of the last 5 minutes ME3 really is a masterpiece.

Mass Effect 3 is the worst one. I wasn't even mad at the ending, because I expected a bad ending. I didn't expect the bad quests. Nearly every side quest was click this thing, and wait at the landing zone until this walker drops so you can kill it. That happened damn near every time. So bad. It was like, cheesy quite often as well.

The Witcher 2 obliterates ME3 in the writing, quest design and C&C department. Like, it isn't even close at all. As Bioware has made the gameplay in ME better, they have fallen off drastically in those departments.

I picked this up over the weekend and put a few hours into it. Basically the prologue and some of chapter 1. So far I'm impressed.
