I recently completed Gears of War 2 and Tomb Raider. Both were great. I played the original Gears so I knew what to expect but Tomb Raider blew my mind. It gave me one more reason to purchase a new system for the next game announced at E3.

I'm not sure what I will play next. I own both Rocksmith games but I've been ignoring them because I suck so hard. I think I need to take 1-2 lessons so that I can learn technique and truly appreciate Rocksmith. I don't even know if I am using the correct fingers when playing each note. I would be satisfied if I could commit to playing for 30 minutes 3-4x per week.

I'm still playing Destiny. I downloaded Assassin's Creed: Black Flag, since it's currently one of the Games With Gold, and free to download. I've only played through the first/intro level, but so far it's pretty good. It's sort of funny, considering the game isn't terribly old, but I find the character models seem a bit dated. Might have to do with the fact that it was a launch title, for the current generation, and was also developed for the 360 and PS3, and maybe that held it back a bit. Not a huge deal though. The game is fun, but that just stood out to me.

I also purchased Geometry Wars 3 the other day, when it was part of the huge sale Microsoft had. I'm hoping to start playing that tonight.

Yeah its pretty great. One of my favourite games ever. Its too bad 4 was such a letdown. For me anyway. I know it got crazy good scores and shit like that but for whatever reason is just never clicked with me.

I'm still enjoying Project Cars with what limited time I have to play games right now. Thinking about picking up either Batman or F1 2015 next week.

...I finally started some new stuff. I'm playing Dragon Age Inquisition on the XB1, The Wonderful 101 on the Wii U, and BioShock 2 on the 360.

I probably will. I like the fact they're going to give away all the previous Gears games, via digital download, if you play between now and Christmas (I think). Although that doesn't really matter to me, since I have all of them anyway. However, it'd be nice to get the digital versions, so I can play them without having to put the disc in the tray.

The game just oozes Platinum-ness and really is a lot of fun to play. Even though I do think that Vanquish, the Bayonetta games and MGR: Revengance are better, if you're fan of Platinum don't pass on The Wonderful 101.

150 hours later and I finally finished the PS Vita version of Final Fantasy X Remaster. No way I'm tackling X-2 until a few months from now.

That's basically the entire game. There's a lengthy single player campaign, but the online game is the central focus of the game. There's no doubt in my mind that this is the game to own this console generation, and will be the game that today's children will wax nostalgic about in 20+ years.

Now I'm currently playing Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, World of Tanks, and some Minecraft, all on the Xbox One. With Gears of War I'm on the final act, and once I beat the game I'll switch over to playing the multiplayer (which I haven't done yet).

Was playing Gears of War: Ultimate Edition until I beat SP Campaign. Now playing Forza 6; got the Ultimate Edition so I could play a few days early. I also picked up Mario Maker, but wont start that for a while.

I haven't pre-ordered Forza 6, but I'll probably pick it up. I haven't purchased a Forza game since the third one, on the 360.

...Dragon Age: Inquisition, Castle Crashers Remastered, and The Wonderful 101. I'm still trying to figure out what to play next on the 360 though. It'll either be Dishonored, Darksiders, or I may go for a retro RPG like Phantasy Star II.

I've been playing random PSN games. The Tales of Monkey Island was good. I convinced the wife to play some Trine with me, too. I've got Dragon's Dogma coming up soon, I think.

At this rate that will be sometime in November.

My younger brother finished it. Was not impressed at all with the ending. I have no idea what it is though.
