Geez, how long does Chrono Cross take?

I'm about 43 hours into it and I'm still on disk 1.

Spoiler alert for people who haven't finished disk 1

I beat all six dragons, and just defeated evil Serge. Then I saved. I haven't gone upstairs yet.

Just wondering if disk 2 is going to take as long. I wanted to finish this game before Christmas. I like to explore and fight most of the monsters, so I have more money and more crap elements than I will ever need, but this game is taking forever.

Chrono Cross isn't really that long, lol. I dunno what you're doing but I beat it in 35 hours and I wasn't exactly rushing.

Your second time through you'll be able to beat it in less than 15 hours! I beat it back to back 3 times, lol.

I'll get back to CC after playing FFIX. I just can't seem to put FFIX after starting it...

But is CC really that long?

My first time with Chrono Cross took 41 hours, and I beat it 3 times afterwards. Every time afterwards took aboue 15 hours.

Enjoy the first disc while you can, cuz the 2nd disc is just sloppy and the storyline becomes so convulted it takes Columbo and a bloodhound to make any sense out of it.

Doh, I forgot that CC only had 2 discs. I decided to start over since I saved Kid and you don't get Glenn. So I guess I will go back to CC after FF9.

I believe it was 30-35 hours the first time threw for me. Might have been closer to 40, but I don't think so.

That's a bit too long for the first disc!

The first disc took me forever too. I wandered a lot and got many of the side quest items. I think I'm just missing the final battle now.

I'm in 60 hours already but I'm still in disc one. Way too many uninspired side quests, unlike those one in the original Chrono Trigger.
