Suggest a Game

To help increase the number of games that we have in our DB, and thus make our database more comprehensive, I'd like you all to post games that are missing from the DB here.

Me or one of the lovely staff members will add the requested game to the DB as soon as possible.

This can be retro (though those are best in the retro forum so we can make them a retro game of the day), or anything that's missing from the new systems as well. I hope to see this used most especially for games that are just released. So if you go out and buy a game and want to add it to your collection here, just let us know what it is, and we'll get it in the DB for you.

Soon there will be a form for all this, so that you can add them through that, which will make everything easier, but for now, this should work.

CheeeseHead20 September 22nd, 2003 08:08 PM

this should probably be in a more popular forum...

Alright, added all of these. For SNK vs. Capcom: Chaos on the NeoGeo AES, all my sources say that the game isn't out yet, coming this month or next. If you know otherwise, let me know, and provide sources and such.

Samurai Shodown 3 for the AES was a bitch for adding boxart, do you have the US release? I found 1 scan of the US cart box, and did what I could with it.

For all of these I added the US version if there was one, and the JP version otherwise. Since you didn't designate if the ones you have were US or JP I just assumed all were US, unless there were no US versions available.

For the TI99 stuff I'll have to add those later, once I get that system in there.

Thanks!

Quake 3 Gold for PC. I guess it's kind of a package, but you could classify it as one product, just like the upcoming GTA: combo pack.

Medieval Total War (PC)

Ghost Pilots, Top Hunter and KoF '94 are the only US AES carts I own. The Majority of my AES game are Japanese (especially the fighters) since the US versions are censored. Samurai Shodown 2 (US) had green blood and you couldn't cut you opponent in half in played on a US system. SS3 & SS4 both had white blood and you also couldn't cut your opponents in half. In the KOF series (US versions) Mai had no breast bounce. US versions of Metal Slug and Shock Troopers all have white blood... ect... I'll do some digging and see if I can't find a decent scan of the US SS3 Insert for you.

As for the NGPC games Cotton and Faselei! had a Japanese and Euro release (both Euro releases were extremely limited) I have Euro copies and well as a Euro copy of KoF R-2 in the coveted hard plastic clamshell case.

The only reason I listed SNK vs. Capcom: Chaos is because it was scheduled to ship on the 9th and I figured you'd be too busy to add it right away . I just found out today my copy won't be shipping until Nov 11th. :(

One more thing... will you get around to adding arcade hardware to the data base? I've got a few MVS carts and am getting ready to purchase a CPSII board and some CPSII games like Alien Vs Predator.

Thanks for adding those games so quickly. :)

Done, yeah, I think I'll add the combo editions that PC does oh so often... I have some plans for linking them and such, but that will come later.

Thanks.

Thanks for all the info, when it comes to neo-geo I'm pretty much clueless. I'll try to get the Japanese versions (and euro of what you mentioned) in as soon as I can. Tonight isn't looking good, but perhaps tomorrow.

Thanks for all the help.

Viper October 3rd, 2003 01:02 PM

Alright, I added Japanese releases for these AES games:

Samurai Spirits 2
Samurai Spirits 3
Art of Fighting 3
Real Bout Fatal Fury 2: The Newcomers
Real Bout Special
The Last Blade
Rage of the Dragons

I also added JP and EU versions of Faselei!, and the EU version of Cotton.

Did you pay the $300 something for CVS Chaos? The screens of that one that I've seen look spectacular.

I plan to add arcade stuff soon, especially the MVS stuff. Not sure what I have planned for doing cabinet style things (mainly for the box scan), but I'll figure something out.

Thanks again.
