Just picked up a new game, Sword of the Berserk: Guts Rage.

Steel February 19th, 2004 08:25 PM

I rented that game and frankly, I was gonna buy it but it was too hard...you know that part when I'm in battle against that huge beast with wings and tail? man I definetly got ANNOYED by this battle...and surely, I've beaten him before but after the next level, and I died, I had to start over and battle over that boss again! it was so frustating and tiring so I'm glad I never bought that one

I just hope they would make a sequel someday and make it MUCH easier to play and less frustating, etc...

cagmere February 20th, 2004 01:09 AM

It's one of the best games that no one has heard of. It's pretty fun for a hack and slash game.

Jerome February 20th, 2004 09:40 AM

I haven't been able to play and enjoy a hack-n-slash or beat-em-up game since Sword of Berserk: Guts' Rage. I got it cause I thought it looked cool, and I wasn't disspapointed. I don't know why but for some reason the ones I have played since I just don't find as good. I've been waiting for a sequel, and it'd be cool if we actually get one. I'd deffinetly buy it.

I've beaten the game on the first 2 difficulty levels, and I still gotta' do it on the hardest, because I believe it unlocks some more goodies.

cagmere February 20th, 2004 01:30 PM

I just got two more imported games. Half-Life and PBA Tour Bowling 2001. I am impressed with Half-Life as the graphics are on par with the PS2 version, the only downer is the frequent loading, though not too bad. PBA isn't that bad, but nothing to brag about either. I'm still trying to keep the ball out of the gutter on a consistent basis. :(

cagmere February 23rd, 2004 10:29 PM

Two more games, Mortal Kombat GOLD and Bangai-O. Both great games.

Marvel Man X February 28th, 2004 09:21 PM

Beats of Rage (Streets of Rage 4)
Anyway I can get that from you?

cagmere February 28th, 2004 11:35 PM

If there was a way for me to host files I could put the DiscJuggler images up for download so that anyone can get them. The Nintendo one is 244 MB and the T.M.N.T. one is only 6.4 MB, I would have to make new images for the others so I cannot tell you at this point how big the file size is for those. Beats of Rage is 60-something MB, and I posted instructions on how to get that in this thread. I don't think Viper would let me host them on ConsoleCity since he tries to keep the site clean, and all of the programs you have interest in contain roms with the exception of that Beats of Rage game.

Jerome March 1st, 2004 01:50 PM

I checked out that Beats of Rage website. Looks pretty good. I'm always keeping an eye out for some cheap Dreamcast games I haven't picked up yet, but I haven't gotten one since late last summer or fall (MDK2).
